As the owner registered on this application form, I hereby agree to the following terms of service:

Grooming Instructions

The person who brings the pet(s) into Fur Us shall be the authorising client for all grooming instructions.
By booking and attending your appointment you agree to the following salon policies, procedures, terms and conditions –


A reminder message of your appointment will be sent via SMS. We ask that you please respond to this by close of business on the day you receive it. Unconfirmed bookings may be cancelled
We ask that any changes or cancellations be made 48 hours prior to your appointment to avoid a $25 late cancellation fee, this then gives us time to fill that appointment.
Unconfirmed, late cancellations and no shows may incur a $25 fee and repeat ‘offenders’ will need to pay a non-refundable deposit upon booking their next appointment.
If you are running late, we ask that you please advise us via a phone call.
The salon is run by appointment, if you are more than 15 minutes late this impacts the entire day. If we have not been advised, your appointment may be cancelled.
It is unfortunate to have to implement these policies, but due to the increasing amount of unconfirmed, no shows and late cancellation of appointments, I have been left with no alternative.

Hair Tangles and Mats

We reserve the right to modify your dog’s haircut and price in accordance with coat condition (which will be explained to you upon discussing your dogs groom) i.e.
if it has been longer than 8 weeks between visits;
if staff feel no brushing has been undertaken at home in between visits;
if your dog is matted and staff feel it is cruel and painful for the dog to be groomed out;
If your dog is matted and staff feel an injury may occur in the process of brushing/combing/dematting (this may cause rashing/haematoma’s)
Whilst we take all due care to ensure no injury occurs during your dog’s grooming visit, IF your dog does sustain an injury as a DIRECT result of the condition of your dog’s coat, we will not be held responsible.
If staff notice fleas on your dog, a flea treatment will be given (unless previously stated otherwise by owner)
If you are unhappy with your experience at Fur Us Pet Grooming we ask that you bring this to our attention and allow us the chance to resolve the issue. This is very important especially when lengths of coat are involved e.g. what is short to us may not be short to you.

Health & Safety

I understand that Fur Us requires each pet to be vaccinated prior to rendering services on those pets. I must provide Fur Us with my pet(s) current vaccinations records. Even if my pet has been inoculated with these vaccines, I assume all risk associated with my pet’s health.
I understand that for my pet’s safety, it will be tethered using a non-tightening loop during the grooming process.
I understand that if any minor injuries occur to my pet, which are the fault of my pet, I will be responsible for its medical expenses.
Please inform the salon staff, if your dog suffers any health issues.

Increased Health Risks for Aged or Ill Pets

I understand that when older pets or those suffering from chronic illness are groomed, they could be susceptible to an increased amount of stress. The increased stress can cause latent physical conditions (such as, but not limited to, heart, liver and kidney disorders) to become active, which could result in illness or, in extreme cases, death. As the owner or agent for your pet(s), you agree not to hold Fur Us or its owners and operators, responsible for the illness or death of your pet(s) or for any expenses incurred because of the illness or death of your pet(s).

Pick Up

Please do not return until you receive your pick up message. If we are still working on your dog and you return earlier than expected, your dog will be happy and excited to see you, this will make our job harder and more dangerous. If this does occur we will kindly ask you to leave the salon so the groom can be finished, this may result in extra time required to complete the groom.
If arriving early to collect your dog, please phone ahead rather than just dropping in.
If you need a certain pick up time, please advise us upon booking your appointment, not upon drop off where we may not be able to accommodate you.
Please, allow between 2-4 hours (depending on the size of your dog, coat condition, type of trim and/or time of year) for each grooming appointment.

Service Quality Guarantee

I understand that if the grooming service is deemed unsatisfactory, notification must be given to Fur Us within 24 hours of my pet’s grooming appointment so appropriate changes can be made. Any minor changes can be made within 48 hours of the initial groom. And before posting any negative comments regarding my pets grooming on any social media platforms has been discussed first with Fur Us, if a resolution has not been satisfactory then you have the rights to comment on any social platform

Oral Care and Teeth Brushing

I understand that Oral Care and Teeth Brushing services performed by Fur Us is for cosmetic purposes only and is not intended to be a substitute for veterinarian care or advice. Fur Us recommends that all pet owners, including me, make proper dental hygiene care part of their pet’s regular routine and to have their pet’s teeth and gums checked out by a qualified veterinarian on an annual basis.

Medical Claims

Fur Us must be notified within 48 hours of my pet’s initial groom of any claims regarding compensation for medical attention given as a result of alleged negligence or injury by Fur Us staff. A letter from a registered veterinarian may be required.

Photography Rights

I understand Fur Us may take photos and/or videos of my pet which may be used as part of any of our grooming services or be used for the intent purpose only to post these photos onto Fur Us website and other forms of social media. If you do not wish for this please advise our team upon arrival and we will mark this on your account.


All prices, given over the phone or online booking without having personally assessed your dog, are an estimate only and are subject to change at management’s discretion.
Extra charges may apply due to excessive matting, extra time grooming or stylised trims.
Extra charges may apply for flea treatments where needed.
Grooming sessions may be charged at an hourly rate of $80 per hour. (You will be advised of this upon inspection of your dog

Although we do not do refunds, if you are unhappy with the service you received, we ask you speak with the Owner of the business to discuss alternative options.
Business Hours
We provide our services Monday to Friday from 8am -3:30pm, in some instance we operate on the last dog appointment, if we have no further bookings for the afternoon we will close early, the team will provide you with this information on the day.
We respect your privacy and will never share your information with any third party. Nor will we send you unsolicited email.
